At the same time, one of his paintings " LA CUBAINE ", became the official bill of the andalusian opera " CARMEN ", for the european tour 98/99.
The new success for the artist makes him more and more famous and opens to him the doors of the " HOTEL MAINVILLE " town hall of the village " LES BAUX DE PROVENCE ", well known for being a place appreciated by painters and sculptors from all over the world.
In front of the real success of this exhibition, DODET exhibits in provence, at PARADOU, where he sells a lot of his new paintings to foreign customers, regular visitors of this area.
" LA GALERIE DES ARTS " invites him to exhibit for one month between two french masters : BUFFET and BRAYER. All of the paintings are sold to local customers.
In february of following year, DODET, exibits in Lyon,Jacques Lasfargues, curator of MUSEUM LYON, says from DODET : " It’s the discovery ! ! ! " . Alarge majority of his paintings are sold to famous great " CHEFS ".
Evian, french town nearly the swiss frontier, consecrates to him an exhibition whose main theme was : " THE WOMAN ". The swiss clientele is charmed by the peculiary of his works.
A 4 **** hotel of the hotel group " Accor " entrusts to DODET the entire artistic decoration of this very luxurious place
He continues whith the decoration of a french TV studio, context of a boxing broadcast, with his painting " LE GANT ".
In june of this year, he exhibits in IMPERATOR CONCORDE during the " FERIA ", event which gather together 1 million of people from all over the world, for 5 days. All paintings are sold, for the great joy of the artist, for his come back in the place of his first exhibition.
This year, he’s preparing the bill of the spanish show " DON JUAN ", for european tour of 2001.
In
october, he’ll market decorative crockrey from a famous french porcelainware
manufacturer, illustrates by one of his painting " LE BELLATRE ".
He is in negotiation for an exhibition in the HOTEL " RIO "
at LAS VEGAS, at th end of the next year.
The 27th of November 2000, Dodet was on the stairs of the "LIDO de PARIS" to present his famous lithograph "Le Gant de Boxe" to the french sportsmen and figures of the year 2000.
Guest of honour in the ceremony precisely named "Les Gants d'Or 2000",he rewarded,among others,David DOUILLET,JeanPaul BELMONDO and Thierry ARDISSON.
In december 2000, he was invited tby the"Salon des Antiquaires"in Nîmes for an exhibition under the patronage of Carole BOUQUET.
